Momentum Calculation for Particle Agglomerate Connections
Supervision:
Background:
Within the scope of research on flows around moving particle
agglomerates it was shown that the calculation of the momentum
of agglomerate connection is important, but complex. The
target of this thesis is to derive, implement and validate an
algorithm to calculate these values. This will enable LBM
simulations of particles to accurately calculate the forces
acting upon connections to the flow around them.
Task:

Derivation of an alogrithm to calculate the connection momentum

Implementation of the algorithm together with an appropriate
interface to the existing LBM code

Verification of the results with simple or analytical test cases
